Fall Rowing Season

Junior rowers raced at Death Row in Duluth, the Head of the DesMoines, and the Head of the Mississippi. They capped the season at Head of the Rock with top showings by Astrid, George, and a solid performance by Natalie in the 3.1 mile head race. Out of an amazing 1900 registered rowers, Astrid and Natalie raced in the Womens Open 1x 3.1 miles rowing hard to get to the start and 3.1 miles over the course taking 6th and 7th. George raced the Open Mens 1x to capture 4th place of 18, only 4 seconds out of 3rd place and 32 seconds off the winning pace. Astrid and George hot seated to a 3rd place finish. They would have captured 2nd place had it not been for losing a bow marker during the hot seating. This was a spectacular performance at a big regatta by our Juniors. We are proud of all the rowers efforts this Fall.
