Minnesota Native, with a professional cycling career background.  I am extremely interested in getting into rowing.

Rowing since 1987, Coaching since 1996

I'm 42 years old and work at Mayo Clinic as a Registered Nurse.
I moved to Rochester two months ago.
I'm interested in learning how to row and join a group that meets regularly.
I haven't been exercising a lot lately, but I'm in good shape and have no medical problems.

Previously, a sweep rower in high school. My goal is to get back into competitive rowing for fun and fitness.  I am able to row either starboard or port in a crew and just learning the art of sculling.  Will participate in either singles or doubles.  My first sculling race ever was in a double at the Head of Miss in 2011.  For fitness, I also like to hit the gym, kayak and bike. 

I am semi-retired and volunteer my time to different community activities.  I pursue other hobbies like woodworking, playing the sax and golfing.

I am willing to help build the club any way I can.

I rowed for Purdue University, and have enjoyed helping with RRC in the past.  I hope to getting back into rowing and helping RRC.

I moved to Rochester in 2007 after graduating from Michigan State University where I rowed for 5 years.  The vast majority of my rowing experience has been in Sweep rowing.  I attempted to participate in the club the first summer I lived in Rochester until graduate school got in the way.  With graduate school now behind me, I hope to start rowing once again.  The passion is certainly still there.

I'm an older master's rower -- who came to rowing when I no longer could play competitive hockey.  I am happily married (Cindy) with two sons, one in graduate school (Phil) and one in college (Dave).  My rowing goal is to make it to the Head of the Charles -- in part so I can visit son #2 in the process. My slightly longer term goal is to make it back to the CRASH Bs in 2011 for a second visit to the land of the Charles.

I was introduced to rowing in Toronto where rowed for Varsity Blues at the University of Toronto, ON, before I moved to Rochester. I am excited to help building and expanding an adult rowing community at the Rochester Rowing Club.

I moved here from Miami, FL where I graduated from Florida International University. Prior to that I lived in Trinidad, West Indies. I love all water activities including rowing and will find any opportunity to get out on the water!

I'll sweep (port) or scull. I've rowed since 1997, including years of competition, even HOCR.

I'm interested in the Learn to Row class for a story in Rochester Magazine.

Preventive Medicine fellow at Mayo. Rowed 4 years in mixed 8 (7 seat) and 4. Raced the Des Moines Regatta 3 times, Iowa Games once. Rowed port but able to row starboard. Have also sculled single, double, and quad.

I love to be outside and in/on the water.  I spent three summers (2002-2004) teaching canoeing.  I have never tried rowing, but would like to give it a try :)

I'm in my 50's and want to learn to row and be compete in some sculling contests.

I took the Adult Learning to Row class last Spring (2009) with Jackie and graduated.  I am looking forward to meeting new individuals this season (2010) as well.

I've always been interested in rowing - but never found a place to participate.  I'm interested in knowing more!

New rower interested in starting with the learn-to-row program available 8/6 & 8/7 per Irada's email to me earlier this week.  Would like to progress beyond learning to row into the full program, if possible.

Masters Age Group C

I like sweep rowing (prefer starboard) and sculling.  Rowed with Rocky Mountain Rowing Club in Denver when I lived out there.  Last race was 3 seat in 8+ at HOCR 2001.  Looking forward to being in team boats again, though I do row my single.

Hi,

I am 26 years old. German. Final year medstudent and currently conducting a six month research placement at Mayo.

I am interested in rowing as I've been looking for a sport that allows me to breath fresh air and interact with my teammates. Maybe it'll help me to improve my English conversation skills, too.

However, I am glad joining the Rochester Rowing Club and looking forward to lots of fun.

Rowed since 1996. Bachelors Boat Club in Philadelphia. Comes to Rochester in Jul 2011.

I am interested in joining the Adult rowing group and/or assisting with coaching. I rowed for Bob back in 2004. I am currently a Nurse and work both Day and Evening shifts. The majority of my shifts are Days from 7-3:30pm.

31 years old. Interested in Adult Learn to Row.
